Why topan Requires Account Verification
Account verification on topan is a Know-Your-Customer (KYC) requirement. We collect identity and address information to prevent fraud, money laundering, and unauthorized account access. This regulatory standard applies across Indonesia and is enforced by our payment partners (DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, etc.) and topan's operational framework.
Verification also protects you. By confirming your identity, topan ensures that only you can request withdrawals from your account. If someone gains access to your login credentials, they cannot drain your balance because they lack your identity documents. Verification creates an additional security layer beyond password protection.
We require verification once. After your first successful submission, you can deposit and withdraw freely as long as your account remains in good standing and your information stays current. If you move to a new address in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, or Medan, we recommend updating your address in topan's account settings to keep your profile accurate.
Documents Needed for topan Account Verification
We require two documents to verify your topan account:

- Address proofA recent utility bill, bank statement, or government letter showing your current address. The document must be issued within the last three months and clearly display your name and address.
Both documents must be legible, unobstructed, and in full color if photographed. Black-and-white or heavily blurred images may be rejected, and topan will ask you to resubmit. Ensure your address on the utility bill matches your registered topan account address—if they differ, update your topan profile before submitting verification documents.
Submitting Documents on Your Phone
On topan, navigate to your account settings (usually the profile or gear icon). Look for the "Verification" or "KYC" section. Tap to open the document upload page. Select "Upload ID" and choose a photo from your phone's camera roll or take a new photo. Repeat for the address proof document. Review both uploads before confirming—topan displays a preview so you can check clarity and completeness.
After submission, topan's verification team reviews your documents. You'll receive an email confirmation once verification completes. This typically happens within 24 hours on weekdays. If additional information is needed, topan will email you with specific instructions.

After you upload documents to topan, your status shows "Pending Review." During this time, our team examines your KTP and address proof.

Weekday submissions typically complete within 24 hours. Weekend and holiday submissions may take longer, especially around Idul Fitri or Idul Adha.

Verified or resubmit request
topan emails you once verification completes. If approved, your status changes to "Verified" and you can withdraw immediately. If rejected, topan explains the issue and asks you to resubmit corrected documents.

Full account access
With verified status, you can deposit and withdraw on topan without further verification. Your topan account remains active as long as you comply with our terms.
Common verification issues and solutions
- Blurry photo – Ensure lighting is clear and the image is in focus. Retake if needed and resubmit.
- Partial document – The ID and address proof must show all required information. Avoid cropping or angling that hides text.
- Address mismatch – Your topan account address must match your address proof. Update your topan profile before resubmitting.
- Expired ID – topan accepts valid (non-expired) national IDs only. Renew your KTP if expired and resubmit.
- Missing signature or date on address proof – Ensure your address proof is original and includes any required signatures or issue dates.
How topan Protects Your Verification Data
Once topan receives your documents, we store them on encrypted servers with restricted access. Only our verification team and authorized compliance staff can view your KTP and address proof. We do not share your documents with third parties except as required by Indonesian financial regulations or law enforcement.
Our topan platform uses industry-standard SSL encryption for all data transmission. When you upload documents from your mobile device, the connection between your phone and topan's servers is encrypted. We do not store your documents on your phone after upload—topan keeps them only on our secure servers.
You can request deletion of your topan verification documents anytime via our support team. Once deleted, you must resubmit new documents if you ever need to verify your account again. However, we recommend keeping your documents on topan for at least one year after your account closure to ensure compliance with financial record-keeping requirements.
Verification and Withdrawal Requests on topan
Verified status on topan is the gateway to withdrawals. Without verification, your topan account can receive deposits and place bets, but withdrawals are blocked. Once verified, you can request a withdrawal to your registered payment method—local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, or bank account (e-wallet, Mandini, mobile banking, local payment).
When you submit a withdrawal request, topan matches the withdrawal destination against your verified account details. For example, if you registered with a online payment account during verification, topan will only process withdrawals to that e-wallet account number. This prevents fraudsters from redirecting your money to a different bank. If you need to change your withdrawal method, update your account settings or contact topan support.

- topan may hold newly verified accounts' first withdrawal for up to 5 business days to confirm account legitimacy. Subsequent withdrawals typically process within 1–3 business days.
- Verification update requirement
- If your address changes significantly or your ID expires, we may request updated documents. topan notifies you via email if re-verification is needed.
- Verification and sportsbook betting
- Verified status is not required to place bets on topan's sportsbook (Liga 1, Piala AFF) or play slots and live casino. It is required only for withdrawals.
Mobile Verification Best Practices
Completing topan account verification on your Android phone or iOS browser is straightforward if you follow a few best practices. First, ensure good lighting when photographing your KTP and address proof. Natural daylight works better than indoor artificial light. Hold your documents flat and parallel to your camera lens to avoid glare or distortion.
Second, use a recent address proof if possible. A utility bill from this month is ideal; anything within the last three months is acceptable. Older documents may be rejected if topan cannot verify currency. Third, double-check that your address on the proof matches your topan account registration exactly. If there is a discrepancy, update your topan profile address first, then submit verification.
Finally, keep copies of your submitted documents for your records. topan does not provide a downloadable copy of what was submitted, but your email confirmation includes a submission timestamp and tracking reference. Save that email in case you need to dispute a verification decision or resubmit corrected documents.
